Saved me from having to buy a new $400 disposal.
The magnetic sensor failed on my 15 year old Insinkerator Pro batch feed disposal. Fortunately, it failed in the ON position so the disposal would not shut off when I remove the magnetic stopper. Rather than replacing the sensor or the disposal, I just purchased one of these remote switches to turn it on and off. I have only used it for a day now but it has worked great so far. Note that the sensor failure is well beyond the expected life of the disposal, and it has been a very quiet and reliable workhorse otherwise.

Easy to Install.
I might be slow, but it took me 10 minutes to install the Garbage Disposal Air Switch Kit Sink Button. To me this is such away cool alternative to reaching for the original wall switch. Our wall switch is 5 feet away from the disposal and have to reach over the counter to reach. What a pain on my side rib. Nevertheless, it works perfect, remember to press the button once to start on and then press the button again to stop the disposal. Works Flawlessly!
